| |
| Sadly today Violet gave up her fight. She was extremely emaciated. She had been catching and eating hoppers but unfortunately it was not enough. We can't guarentee that all of our rescues will survive but we do have a pretty good success rate. Violet is one of the unfortunate few that we could not save. |
| |

We will announce what leos we expect to have available in 2010 when we know which leos we will be breeding from. |

Chance shed this week all by herself and I only had to help her to do her eyes. Anya is doing well. Amie is now piling on the pounds and is barely recognisable - I have put an updated pic on her page. Buttercup is doing well. Fanta also looks really well. We have 2 new rescue leos. Apple is doing nicely, eating well. Dazzle has needed some help to clean his eye but it is looking much better. |

| 17-06-2009 - Rescue Leos Update |
| |
| All our rescue leos are doing really well. Cupcake is now eating for herself and her enigma traits seem to be fading a little as she calms down. She will always circle but she does it far less frequently now. Lila is also now eating for herself and doing really well. Chance is eating well and putting on weight. Anya is now 36g and is looking really healthy - she has a great appetite. Amie has turned back around and is putting lots of weight on finally. Buttercup is still doing well, putting weight on nicely. Fanta has shot up to 40g and looks really well. So lots of good news this time! |
| |

| |
| 09-06-2009 - A sad loss |
| |
| Sadly we lost Lace over the weekend. Laying eggs while she was so fragile was just too much for her. |
| |
| 05-06-2009 - Rescue Leos Update |
| |
| We have acquired 2 new rescue leos - Cupcake is a non feeder and has enigma traits but we have been giving her liquid calcium and offering her a varied diet. She is not underweight enough to worry just yet but we are keeping a close eye on her. Lila will only eat if she is hand fed and appears to have some kind of neurological problem similar to enigma syndrome as she is wobbly and walks circles. She is also getting liquid calcium.
And an update on our other rescue leos - Chance is still doing really well. One of her eyes is now open frequently and she has started eating small hoppers if they are left in her viv. We are still handfeeding her aswell to make sure she gets enough food. Anya is still putting weight on nicely! Amie has taken a turn for the worse and is back to being handfed small hoppers. Secret sadly passed away. Buttercup is doing well, putting weight on nicely. Fanta is doing really well, has developed a great appetite and is putting weight on really well. Lace is really not doing very well at all. We are syringe feeding her but she is disappearing before our eyes and I think we may sadly lose her. |
| |

| |
| 15-04-2009 - Rescue Leos Update |
| |
| Here is an update on our rescue leos -
Chance is coming on in leaps and bounds. She is growing well and loves small hoppers which she can now eat from our fingers, much better than the syringe feeding she was on previously! We are so pleased with her progress.
Anya is feeding for herself, has developed a great appetite and is piling weight on. Again, great progress!
Amie is just starting to eat hoppers for herself and is also starting to put some weight on properly so is also no longer being syringe fed. We are really happy that she is on the road to recovery.
Secret is not doing so well and is still being syringe fed, we are worried we may yet lose her but we are not giving up on her!
Buttercup is doing well, eating for herself and should now start to put some weight on and recover well.
Fanta is also doing well, eating for himself and should start to put some weight on and recover well.
Lace is not doing quite as well as Buttercup and Fanta as she is gravid and egg laying is hard work for leos. Her appetite has been reduced aswell due to her being gravid. |
